Cubs Club
The Columbia University Institute of Human Nutrition (IHN), in partnership with the IHN Alumni Association (IHNAA), is proud to announce the relaunch of its alumni mentorship program, Cubs Club!
Initially introduced in 2022, the Cubs Club Mentorship Program underwent significant restructuring over the past two years, streamlining the mentor-mentee matching process by allowing interested mentees to directly contact a mentor of their choice from a list of participating alumni. The professions and industries represented by mentors have also expanded, thereby providing greater flexibility and reach for mentees to select a mentor that is most suitable for them.
Through this new structure, the IHN and IHNAA hope that more longitudinal relationships may be formed as current IHN MS students and recent graduates begin to navigate their career and professional goals beyond their time in the program with the help of dedicated IHN alumni. For more information on Cubs Club and how to participate as either a mentor or mentee, please refer to this page.
The IHN would like to extend its utmost gratitude to both IHNAA Alumni Relations Chair, Perri Nelson, and IHN Senior Manager, Sarah Bergren, for facilitating the relaunch of the program, including curating the finalized list of Cubs Club mentors and launching the page on the Canvas educational website, as this could not have happened without their amazing effort and hard work!
