Sabrina Diano, PhD, 2024 elected AAAS Honorary Fellow and CASE Member
Sabrina Diano, PhD, the Robert R. Williams Professor of Nutrition, Director of the Institute of Human Nutrition and Professor in the department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics, has been elected a Fellow of the Association by the AAAS Council, joining a distinguished group of scientists, engineers, and innovators recognized for their ongoing achievements across various disciplines. AAAS Fellows are honored for their contributions to research, teaching, technology, academic, industry, and government leadership, and excellence in science communication and public engagement.
She has also been elected as a member of the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering (CASE), an honor awarded to individuals recognized for their scientific and engineering distinction. CASE members are selected based on significant contributions in theory or application, demonstrated through original published works, patents, pioneering efforts in emerging fields, innovative products, leadership of nationally recognized technical teams, public service, and prestigious professional awards acknowledging excellence in science and engineering.
